Susan Fong, ICF ACC | Transition, Life Coach & Humanitarian Worker
My life has been shaped by movement: across countries, cultures, and communities. I understand what it means to start over, adapt to unfamiliar environments, and rebuild identity and direction. These lived experiences allow me to coach with empathy, cultural intelligence, clarity, and practical guidance.
I’ve worked and travelled across Asia, backpacked through Asia, and lived in remote mountain regions of Yunnan. Along the way, I’ve supported expatriates, returnees, women in transition, single parents, and global professionals seeking clarity and stability. Clients often describe my style as calm, structured, culturally aware, and deeply supportive.
Why This Work Matters to Me
For more than 15 years, I worked in humanitarian and development settings across Asia, supporting communities affected by conflict, crisis, and displacement. These experiences taught me how identity shifts under pressure, how belonging blurs across borders, and how transition reshapes confidence and purpose.
This grounding informs every program I run: bringing emotional steadiness, cultural intelligence, strategic thinking, and deep respect for every lived story.
How I work
My approach blends:
proven transition frameworks
practical, step-by-step strategies
structured goal-setting
compassionate, reflective listening
Together, we clarify where you are now, define where you want to go, and build a path that feels grounded and achievable. You lead the journey; I guide the process with clarity, structure and steady support.
